What are we looking for?
We are looking for a profile with a strong commercial focus, knowledge of the energy market, and experience in selling technical solutions. As Senior Sales Representative – Control Center Services, you will play a key role in the growth of this new service, generating business, building strategic relationships, and closing important deals. 🤝
What will you do in this role?
- Identify business opportunities and generate new accounts in the Control Center segment.
- Understand clients’ operational needs and turn them into tech-based value propositions.
- Participate in the design and execution of the go-to-market strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with asset owners, asset managers, and market representatives.
- Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
- Ensure revenue targets are met and actively contribute to Green Eagle’s positioning in the sector.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
🔹 Commercial experience in the energy sector
- Over 5 years in B2B sales, ideally in origination or services related to Control Centers.
- Proven track record in business development and strategic account management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
🔹 Comprehensive knowledge of the energy and operational environment
- Deep understanding of how electricity markets (OMIE and REE) work, including day-ahead, intraday, and balancing markets.
- Experience in energy sales optimization, deviation management, and relations with market agents and system operators.
- Solid knowledge of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs): price structures, market risks, and hedging strategies.
- Familiarity with automated trading algorithms, predictive models, and energy optimization tools.
- Technical knowledge of substation infrastructure, remote-control systems, and grid outage management.
- Experience with key Operating Procedures (P.O.) applicable to asset control and representation: 3.11, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 7.5, and 9.2.
🔹 Education and personal competencies
- Degree in Engineering, Energy, Business Administration, or similar.
- A Master's or specialized training in energy markets will be a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (other languages are a plus).
- Results-oriented mindset, autonomy, and passion for technology and sustainability.
